Novice Women have had an awesome fall so far! Very proud of finishing the fall season with 5 events with a silver medal and 1 gold! This fall has been full of team building and hard work. Ask the athletes about the team bonding yarn activity and their 3x3k erg! I am excited to keep the momentum going as we start transitioning into spring racing season. Happy Holidays!!

The Advanced Masters are gearing up for the San Diego Crew Classic in the Spring. We are refining our blade work and improving our fitness with long Steady State rows. We are One week into our annual 3 month long / One Million Meters Club Challenge. Napoleon Griffin is leading the pack of about 30 men and Carolyn Kim, recently joining TRC from San Diego Rowing Club, is leading a group of about a dozen women.

Additionally, those who reach 1,000,000 meters receive the coveted T-shirt commemorating the achievement, specially designed by Mark.

I really enjoyed reading through the November recap for the Texas Rowing Center. It is fantastic to see the rowing community so active during the fall season, especially with the training progress and the camaraderie clearly visible on the water. Documenting these monthly milestones is a great way to keep everyone connected and inspired by the hard work and passion that define the sport. These recaps provide a wonderful narrative of the team's growth and the unique spirit of the local rowing culture. Often, people within such dedicated athletic communities find that their personal journeys or team histories are worth sharing in a more permanent format like a book. For anyone looking to turn their competitive experiences or community success…

These rehearsal photos are electric — you can feel the comedic tension already building. The title has been living rent-free in my head since I first read it. Curious to check how long ago Theatre Works first announced this show, because the anticipation has felt like forever. Definitely one of the most memorable productions of the season.

The premise here is delightfully chaotic — inheritance, marriage deadlines, and a lineup of questionable dates. It's giving very much "plan everything or lose everything" energy. If the protagonist had used Planning Birthday to organize her social calendar, maybe she'd have this whole situation sorted by intermission. Brilliant concept for a production.

What a title — it practically tells the whole story before the curtain even rises. The rehearsal shots already show so much energy and chemistry between the cast. With a deadline like "by the end of the year" baked right into the premise, I'd honestly run a Full Screen Countdown Timer on stage just to keep the pressure alive. Can't wait to see how Theatre Works brings this one to life.
