WaterWorks Event
Reserve your kayak, canoe or SUP for the WaterWorks events at dusk on Friday, September 26, and Saturday, September 27, 2025. See the iconic façade of the historic Seaholm Intake Facility transform into a vibrant canvas of art, light, and motion. WaterWork is a unique, immersive art experience co-created by The Trail Conservancy and Design Austin, that celebrates the dynamic relationship between Austin’s urban landscape and its cherished natural environment. Using state-of-the-art projection mapping technology, the Seaholm Waterfront will come alive with captivating artworks from fifteen talented Austin artists. Each artist’s work explores and illuminates the vibrant coexistence between Austin’s bustling cityscape and its restorative beauty of natural spaces.
Texas Rowing Center is proud to partner with The Trail Conservancy for this event and 50% of all proceeds go directly to The Trail Conservancy's work to protect, enhance, and connect the Ann and Roy Butler Hike-and-Bike Trail for the benefit of all. Reserved boats can be collected after 6PM.
