St. Edward’s University and the Texas Rowing Center have joined together to start the St. Edward’s Rowing Team.
St. Edward's University is a private, Catholic liberal arts institution of more than 5,200 students located here in one of the world's most vibrant cities, Austin, TX. Students enjoy the advantages of small classes and personal attention coupled with excellent internships and service-learning opportunities.
Texas Rowing Center is proud to join with St. Edward’s University to form the new St. Edward’s Rowing Team!
The purpose of the St. Edward’s Crew Team is to give the students a new sport in which to promote a healthy lifestyle. The crew team will also let students grow a greater appreciation of Austin’s culture while rowing downtown on Austin’s Town Lake. Rowing will be used to form new and long lasting friendships with other rowers, students, and coaches.
