Kayaks and canoes provide a fun and easy adventure for the whole family. Our kayaks and canoes are great for fishing on Town Lake also!
We also provide a variety of lessons from private, group, or 6 week fitness classes!
To some, the word kayaking or canoeing may bring to mind whitewater rapids, crash helmets and lots of padding. Don't worry — on Town Lake the kayaking or canoeing is a lot more placid and easy for anyone of all ages and experiences.
Our recreational kayaks and canoes are simple to operate and safe for anyone 4 years old and up. They can be paddled on Town Lake with a few minutes of instruction, and are fast and very stable.
Texas Rowing Center has Austin ’s largest fleet of kayaks — you have your choice of sit-on-top or sit-inside kayaks, including single-seat, double-seat, and triple-seat boats.
Kayak and canoe rentals are available all day, every day — no reservations are necessary.
